           DORIS MARIE PEARSON
    
Died Friday February 24, 2023-age 80 at home in Fenwick under the care of 
Corewell Hospice.
Born March 2, 1942 daughter of Frank and Nora (Smith) Ash.
Doris served as director of the Belding Housing Commission for 12 years.
Member of the Sheridan VFW Auxiliary.
Enjoyed tending to her garden, knitting, crocheting, painting with watercolors, 
and pyrography.
Survived by her children, Liane Palmateer of Fenwick & Scott Palmateer of 
Fenwick; step-children, Donnalee Tuthill, Doug (Norma) Sower of Gowen, & Jerry 
Jr. (Susan) Pearson of Utah. grandchildren, Ken Palmateer of Fenwick, Mikayla 
Mathewson of Belding, Chris (Brittany) Jones of Dorr; several step 
grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Ella, Everett, Edie, Alek & Ava, & 
many step-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry Pearson; daughter, Kristen 
Sower-Mathewson, grandsons, Derek Sower,Kirk Sower, & Mitchell Fitzgerald; and 
daughter-in-law, Laura Palmateer.
No formal ceremony will be held. Burial at Clear Lake Cemetery.
