Peck, only daughter of S.M. and Phebe A. Peck, aged 17 years, 8 months and 14 days. All who knew her will read the above lines with feelings of sadness at the loss of so true a friend so bright an ornament of society, who is thus called in the prime of life to cross to the other shore, leaving behind a most affectionate family circle and a multitude of friends, who had learned to appreciate her worth and love her for many excellent qualities of mind and heart. Born and brought up on the farm where her sorrowing parents still reside, she had acquired a very large circle of acquaintances whose appreciation of their departed friend and companion was shown on the day of her funeral. The funeral services were held at the M.E. Church, at Sebewa corners, Wednesday, June 21st, conducted by Rev. Mr. Mount. he family has the heartfelt sympathy of the community in their deep affliction. Deceased has been a constant sufferer since last July and since October has not been able to leave her room. She bore her sufferings with patience. The deceased was a niece of Mrs. Perry and Allen H. Morse of this place.
