She was born Myrtelle Brooks, July 25, 1877 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brooks, in Ronald township. She resided at her Lafayette street home for the past 20 years and prior, made her home in Grand Rapids. Mrs. Peck was supervisor of the sewing department at the Ionia State hospital. When living in Grand Rapids she was a buyer for a leading department store. A member of the First Presbyterian church for a number of years, she was also a member of the Martha Circle of the church and sang in the church choir. She also sang in choirs of several other Ionia churches. She was a member of the Ionia Garden club. Surviving are one son, Willis of Rome, N.Y., one grandson and four granddaughters and two sisters, Mrs. A. R. Hufford and Mrs. Bert Segar, both of Grand Rapids. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Contributions are being accepted for a memorial fund of the Presbyterian church.
