Peck. of Carson City, died Sunday afternoon after a brief illness of pneumonia. The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist Episcopal church at Carson City and burial will be North Plains cemetery. Mr. Peck was a native of New York, but came to Michigan when about 21 years of age to work for Thomas McKensie, who lived on the place that is now the home of John DeGarmo. He remained in the vicinity of Muir until 1926 when he went to Carson City to live. He had always been a farmer. While living at Muir, he married Winifred Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer Brown. She died in 1892. Surviving are his two children, Glenn Peck, who with his family were living with him, and Mrs. Ernest Defoe, of Flint, and seven grandchildren.
