Carl W. Peck, 81, 165 Summit St., Saranac, died Thursday in a Grand Rapids 
hospital.  He was born May 2, 1904, in Keene Township, the son of Clarence and 
Fannie Goff Peck.

He lived his entire life in Saranac, where he owned and operated a plumbing 
supply store for many years.  He married Muriel Kirby May 31, 1925, in Saranac.

Survivors include his wife, Murial; one son, Blaine, of Texas; two daughters, 
Gloria Hubbard of Saranac, and Rosemary Stafford of New York; four 
grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Lake Funeral Home in 
Saranac, with the Rev. James Frank of the Galilee Baptist Church officiating.  
Burial will be in the Saranac Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home 
Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
