The death of Oscar C. Peckins, 71, occurred at his home in Lyons township 
Tuesday morning.  Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Howard Ranger, of Lyons; two 
sons, Edward, of Portland, and Francis at home; two sisters, Mrs. E. G. 
McQuillan, of South Dakota, and Mrs. Gertrude Fifield of Detroit, and a 
brother, James, of Lyons.

Mr. Peckins was born in the village of Lyons and had spent practically all of 
his lifetime in that vicinity.
