Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 Dec 1953

Addie M. Peckins, 91, a resident of Lyons, died Friday, Christmas Day, December
25, at the Eckert Nursing Home.  She was born April 17, 1862, at Steubenville,
Ohio, but had been living in Lyons for some time. 

Surviving are four nephews, Will Stocum of Portland, Roland Stocum of Los
Angeles, Calif., John Stocum of Lyons, and Hal Burris of Detroit; two nieces,
Mrs. Clara Warford of Lansing and Mrs. Byron Smith of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home in
Muir.  Burial will be in Highland Park mausoleum.  Evergreen Chapter, OES
members are asked to meet at the funeral home to attend the services in a body.
