A. DELORES PECKINS
IONIA - A. Delores Peckins, 71, of Lyons died Sept. 10 at St. Lawrence Hospital,
Lansing.

Born April 11, 1917, in Carlton Center, Barry County, she was the daughter of
Thomas and Marie Meyers Barry.

She attended Carlton Center School, and was married to J. Francis Peckins May 5,
1937, at SS. Peter and Paul Church, Ionia. They lived all their married life on the Peckins
homestead in Lyons Township. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1988.

She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church and the Altar Rosary Society
of the church.

Surviving are three sons, John, James and Joseph, all of Lyons; a daughter Fran
Linsemier of Portland; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Bonnie) McLeod; and many
nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Mass will be offered at 12 noon Tuesday at Ss.Peter and Paul Catholic
Church.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

The family will be at Cook funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials have been established for the Portland Ambulance Service and the Lyons
Fire department, in care of the funeral home.
