Mrs. Cora M. Peckins
Mrs. Cora M. Peckins, life-long resident of Lyons township, died Wednesday evening
at 8 o'clock  on her sixty-fifth birthday, at Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids, where
she had been a patient for the last three weeks. She was born in Lyons, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John Rock, October 17, 1869, and as a girl she attended the Crane school in Lyons 
township. She was married  September 28, 1898 to Oscar Peckins, also of Lyons
township, in SS. Peter and Paul church at Ionia.

Surviving are her husband, Oscar; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ranger, two sons,
Edward and Francis, of Lyons township; three sisters, Mrs. Orpie Lawless, of Portland; Mrs.
Catherine McQuillan and Mrs. Mary Canfield of Lyons, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning from Ss.Peter and Paul church.
Interment will be at the family lot at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning from the SS. Peter and Paul
Church.
