Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. July 1, 1978

IONIA- Thelma A. Peterson, 68, longtime Ionia resident died Friday afternoon at 
Belding Community hospital following a short illness.

She was born in Ionia July 3, 1909, the daughter of Charles and Ella 
Schermerhorn Walen.

She married Edwin G. Peterson in Ionia February 15, 1958. He preceded her in 
death April 28, 1973.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Laura Earnest of Sheridan and nieces and 
nephews.

Services are Monday at 11 am from the Leddick funeral home. 

Burial is in Sunset Memorial gardens. 

The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Saturday, 7 
to 9 pm and Sunday 2 to 4 pm.
