Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Wed. Jan. 4, 1950


Mrs. Catherine Peez, 87, of Portland died in a Lansing convalescent home 
Monday, Jan. 2.

She was born Sept. 19, 1862 in Portland, a twin sister of Nick Wohlscheid. She 
was the widow of Peter Peez.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helena Ames of Lansing and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday from St. Patrick’s Catholic church 
at 9 a.m. burial will be in Portland cemetery.
