Ionia Sentinel Standard, 24 Oct 1942

Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria B. Pelzer, 50, who died Friday noon at her 
home in Ionia township where she had been in ill health for over a year, will 
be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the Stone funeral home.  Rev. C.A. 
Brady of the Church of Christ will officiate and the remains will be taken to 
Detroit Monday for cremation.

Surviving are her husband, Chester Pelzer, three children, Donald Pelzer, of 
Detroit; Mrs. Byron Lapman of Farmington, and Mrs. George Hogan of Ionia; nine 
grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. A.C. Hall and Mrs. C.C. Miller of Detroit 
and Miss Eunice Broad; one brother, Clare Broad, of Ionia.
