Sentinel-Ste. - Monday, Jan. 22, 1951

Chester L. Pelzer, 66, of Grand Rapids, died suddenly Wednesday at St. Mary's 
hospital. A printer by trade, he was employed at the Ionia Daily Sentinel-
Standard and the Ionia County News in years past.

He was born in Ionia and lived here most of his life except for the past five 
years.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Grand Rapids with interment in 
Grandville.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Hogan of 511 Jones street and Mrs. 
Byron Lapham, Detroit, a son, Don of Detroit and 13 grandchildren.
