Larry G. Pemberton, 60, of Six Lakes, formerly of Saranac, passed away Friday,
Sept. 2, 2005, at his residence.  He was born May 9, 1945, to George and Gladys
Leiter Pemberton.  He was retired from Riverside Correctional Facility as a
power engineer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Craig, in 1987; brother, Richard;
and five sisters, Sandy, Mary, Emma, Lillian, Verna.  He is survived by his
wife, Frances; daughter Sherri and Jaime Hernandez-Cruz of Ionia; two sisters,
Mazie Patten of Ionia, Gloria and Conception Martineze of Georgia; and two
grandchildren, Alexander George and Benjamin Craig.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Lake Funeral Home, Saranac, with the
Rev. James Frank officiating.  Interment is in Saranac Cemetery.  The family
will receive friends and relatives from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at
the funeral home.  Anyone wishing may make contributions to Hospice of Michigan
or the American Cancer Society.
