Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Fri. Jan. 22, 1960

Funeral service for Nelton J. Pennington, 68, who died Thursday forenoon at 
Ionia County Memorial hospital, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday from the 
Myers funeral home.

Mr. Pennington was born August 9, 1891 in Lyons, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John 
Pennington. He was a lifelong resident of Ionia County and had made his home in 
Pewamo a number of years. 

He is survived by a son, Harold of Ionia; one daughter, Mrs. Gaylord (Esther) 
Wellman of Hart, and nine grandchildren.

The Rev. Wilfred E. Sawyer of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate and 
burial will be at Plains cemetery.
