PENNINGTON, PAULINE L. (LAKE)(MRS. HAROLD):
   SENTINEL-STANDARD, Ionia, MI, 10-12-1993:  "PAULINE L. PENNINGTON - PEWAMO -
Pauline L. Pennington, 70, of Pewamo died Monday.  She was born in Ionia on
March 14, 1923, the daughter of Foster and Viola (Sprague) Lake.  She married
Harold Pennington on November 1, 1940.  He died in 1985.
   She attended Barryton High School and was a public health aid for over 20 years.
   She is survived by two daughters, Dierdrre Hybarger of Rockford, and Sharon
Klein of Fowler; one son, Jerry Pennington of Pewamo; four sisters, Irene
Ferguson of Lansing, Nora Stafford of Battle Creek, JeAnette Bellignar of St.
Johns, Betty Northrup of Lake Odessa; three brothers, Melvin Lake of Laingsburg,
Lloyd Lake of Muir, 11 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Lake and Austin Lake.
   Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir,
with the Rev. Robert Jourdan officiating.
   Burial will be in East Plains cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral
home Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11.  A memorial has been established for the
North Plains Church, in care of the funeral home."
