Born in Edmore, January 16, 1902 the son of Edward and Lula Giles Peoples he attended and graduated from Carson City high school. He accepted employment with the United Stare Postal service and using a team of horses delivered mail between Pewamo and Carson City, until 1941 when he accepted employment with the Ionia County road commission, where he was a truck driver until his retirement in 1961 with 20 years service. Surviving are his wife, the former Leona Tyler, who hs married February 14, 1924 and s a son Daniel with the U.S. Navy submarine service in Pensacola, Fla. Also surviving is a brother Cleo Peoples of Breckenridge, and two grandchildren. Burial arrangements are being made at Boynton-Leddick Funeral Home in Ionia.
