                IONIA COUNTY ROAD WORKER DIES FROM HEART ATTACK

Cleon L. Peoples of Easton Township, Ionia County Road Commission road worker, 
died Monday morning following a heart attack. He was 40 years. old.

Coroner Dale Kauffman, who investigated, said death was the result of a heart 
attack. He said that Mr. Peoples had complained of feeling ill while operating 
a mower. He rested for a time and then went back to work He collapsed 
immediately.

Mr. Peoples was a native of Carson City. Surviving are his wife, Julia, a son, 
David; a twin brother, Cleo of Carson City and a brother, Eric. of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. The body will be at the Ellis 
Funeral Home, Belding.
