Mrs. Jennie Perdum Passes

Mrs. Jennie Perdun, 72, passed away Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Velma Jarstfer, 511 S. Jefferson St., Hastings. She was formerly a resident of 
Woodland Twp. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Jarstfer, Mrs. Ona Steketee, 
East Chicago, Ind. and Mrs. Gladys Leon, Detroit, wleven grandchildren and 
fourteen great-grandchildren. She has two grandsons in service. She also leaves 
one sister, Mrs. Mary LePard, Grand Rapids. 

The funeral will be held Thursday; a prayer since will be held in Hastings at 
the home of Mrs. Jarstfer at 1 P.M. and the funeral will be held at 2 p.m. at 
the Woodland U.B. church with the Rev. Vern Beardsley of Lansing in charge with 
the Rev. I.H. Osgood, the local pastor, assisting. The burial will be in 
Lakeside cemetery.
