Belding - Janice L. Perkins, 72, of Belding, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2001,
at her home.  She was born in Greenville on March 3, 1929, the daughter of Earl
and Lavina Parks Schrader.  Janice graduated from Greenville High School and was
a member of the Congregational Church in Greenville.  Janice was a co-owner,
along with her husband, of Vogue’s Furniture store in Belding.  She was a loving
wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed entertaining friends and family in
their homes in Belding, Florida and on Lake Michigan and will be greatly missed
by them.

Surviving are her husband Harry Perkins, whom she married on June 16, 1947;
their children, Becky Clabuesch of Grand Rapids, Holly Perkins and Fredric
Goldberg of Grand Rapids; four grandchildren, Sarah Clabuesch, Eric Clabuesch,
Brett Goldberg, Josie Goldberg; one brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Sally
Schrader of Greenville.  Janice was preceded in death by her parents and one
brother, Lewis Schrader.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home,
Belding, with Pastors Gary Jacobsen and Dick Woodward officiating.  Visitation
will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial
contributions may be made to the Alvah N. Belding Library, Ionia Area Hospice or
the American Lung Association.
