Lake Odessa Wave  
          SERVICE HELD FOR LYDIA PERKINS
   Mrs. Lydia Perkins, 62 of Round Lake Rd., Sunfield, passed away Friday evening at
the Lansing General Hospital.
   She had been a resident of the Sunfield area for many years, coming here from
Kentucky.
   Surviving are her husband, Dewey;  four daughters, Mrs. Wendell (Jessie) Patrick
of Portland, Mrs. Gerald (Evangeline) Kent of Mulliken, Mrs. Marvin (Bobbie) Shade of 
Woodbury and Sandra at home;  six sons, James of Potterville, Paul and J. D. of Grand 
Ledge, Dewey Jr. of Lake Odessa.
   Roy of Sunfield and Mark Charlotte;  32 grandchildren;  Her mother and a brother
of Blue Ridge, Ky.
   Funeral services were held Monday at 2 P.m. at the Mapes-Fisher Funeral Home at
Sunfield.  Rev. Fred Youngs officiated, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
