RHODA PERKINS 1945-2017
Rhoda Marie Perkins, 71, of Ionia, MI passed away Jan 26, 2017 in Ionia. She 
was born on May 26, 1945 in Ionia, MI the daughter of Carl and Evelyn 
(Chapman) Johnson. Rhoda married Dewey Perkins Jr. in 1978, he passed away in 
2006.

Rhoda is survived by her daughter, Candi Newton of Pewamo; step-children, 
Roxanne Williams of Hastings, Sheila Perkins of Hastings, Mike Perkins of 
Ionia, Cheri Perkins of Florida, Brad (Christina) Perkins of Lake Odessa, 
Chad (Shannon) Perkins of Lake Odessa; sister, Rita Antes of Ionia; five 
grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and very 
close friend, Phyllis Rich of Ionia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Carl Bowling, 
Brothers, Eugene Chapman, William Chapman, Richard Johnson, sisters, Patricia 
Heilman, Joyce Johnson and May Johnson.

Upon her request, there will be no services. Arrangements were made by Lake 
Funeral Home of Ionia. Online condolences may be made at
