Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 Feb 1958

The Rev. Floyd Emshwiller officiated at funeral services held Monday afternoon
at 2 p.m. for Alonzo Parmenter, who died in Okemos Friday evening.  The services
were held at Myers funeral home.  Interment was in Higbee cemetery.  Bearers
were Walter Saxon, Gus Nardow, Dan Davis, Jack Horrocks, Ray Robertson and Zelle
Miles.
