Funeral services in charge of the Stebbins Funeral Home of Sheridan were held 
at 2 o’clock Saturday for Mrs. Sylvia Perrien at Shanty Plains church near 
Fenwick and burial was in the cemetery there.  She had lived most of her life 
in Fairplains township, but for a few years had been with her daughter, Mrs. 
Mary Wells of Moulton Street, this city, and it was at her home that she died.

She was born July 23, 1873 and is survived by four sisters; Mrs. Ira Outman of 
this city, Mrs. Berl Weeks of Edmore, Mrs. Nora Haines of Barryton and Mrs. 
Alton Raymond of Greenville.  Mrs. Perrien, with her late husband, had cared 
for 13 foster children.
