CLARA L. PERRIEN
IONIA - Clara L. Perrien, 80, of Ionia died Saturday at her son's residence.

She was born Aug. 14, 1907, the daughter of George and Ida Riggs Dalton and lived
most of her life in the Ionia area.

She was married to Julian E. Perrien May 17, 1922; he died Jan. 21, 1986.

Two daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Donna) Weber and Jean Thornton also preceded her in 
death, as died two brothers, Ernie and Fred Dalton.

She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's Church and a member of the Altar rosary 
Society.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Katherine) Kelley of  Ovid and Mrs. Buddy
(Theresa) Baldwin of Lakeland, Fla.; three sons, Julian of Florida, Edward of Ionia
and Lyle of Ovid; 30 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Clare
(Lena) Falor of Fowler.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from SS. Peter and Paul's Church.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

The family will be at Myers Memorial Chapel, East Main Street, Monday from 7 to 8:30
and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. The rosary will be recited Tuesday at 8
p.m.

A memorial for SS. Peter and Paul Academy has been established, in care of the
funeral home.
