Ionia Daily Sentinel, 5 Nov 1954

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Perrien, who died Monday evening at her home 
at 168 Fargo street, were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Myers funeral 
home with the Rev. H.S. Ellis of Belding officiating.  Interment was at Palo 
cemetery.  Pallbearers were Donald Bailey, Robert Bailey, Clare Wilson, Tom 
Burt, Charles Perrien Jr., and LeRoy Feehan.  Flowers were in charge of Mrs. 
Dorothy Haist and Mrs. Ada North.

Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Clare Wilson and Mr. and 
Mrs. Donald Bailey of Stanton; Mr. and Mrs. J. MacDermott of Chicago; Mrs. 
Maude Worthey, Mrs. Harold Dick, Mrs. Leslie Sherd, Mrs. Frank Wolverton and 
Mrs. Harry Frederick of Sheridan; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hecht of Fenwick; Mr. and 
Mrs. Orman Hoyt of Carson City; Mr. and Mrs. Julian Perrien and family and Mr. 
and Mrs. Julian Perrien Jr., of Fowler; Mrs. Vivian Steenberger and Mrs. Thelma 
Bowser of Lansing; Mrs. Juanita Cobb of Grand Rapids, Edward Wysell Jr., of 
Cedar Springs; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bailey of Greenville; Mr. and Mrs. Webster 
Albaugh of Edmore; John Leland of Orleans and Mrs. Maude Jewell of Holt.
