Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Fr. Vincent J. Kamarauskas sang the mass. Interment was at Highland Park cemetery. Prayer service at Myers funeral home preceded the funeral mass. Three jet planes from Air National Guard at Kellogg Air Base at Battle Creek, where David’s uncle is stationed, paid tribute to his honor during graveside services at Highland Park cemetery. One of the planes was piloted by Anthony Helderop, Jr., of Ionia. Bearers were David Ransom, Larry Simon, Paul Stamsen III, George Supp, Lonnie Kettner, Larry Church and Richard Vincent. Boy Scouts of Troop 86 attended in a group. Many relatives and friends attended from Battle Creek, Detroit, Birmingham, Grand Rapids, Chicago, Zeeland, Belding, Greenville and Fowler.
