She was born in Kenton, Ohio July 31, 1925 the daughter of Henry and Sylvia (Derringer) Krock. Mrs. Perry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Portland, taught Sunday School for 50 years and also was a leader in AWANA. She was a wonderful seamstress and cook and was actively involved in TOPS program for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Glenn E. Perry in 2000; her parents; sister, Clarabelle Vanderhoof; brother, Earl Krock. Surviving are children, Paul (Linda) Perry of Lansing, Glenda Perry of Lansing, Stephen (Gina) Perry of Lubbock, Texas, Timothy (Shelly) Perry of Portland, Darlene (David) Jenista of Belmont and Judy (Dan) Bowers of Portland; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Gertrude (Robert) Everett of New Bloomington, Ohio. Services were conducted by the Rev. Jim Howard, Pastor Dec. 4, at the First Baptist Church of Portland, with interment following at Portland Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland. Contributions to the First Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
