Robert was born June 3, 1949, in Anacortes, Wash., the son of Gerald Sr. and Roberta Allen Peryea. During his working years, Robert served as foreman for War Memorial Auditorium in Syracuse, N.Y. He was a member of Greenville Moose Lodge No. 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister and brothers, Joyce, Johnnie, Jim and Gerald. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Jean Ouellette, Janet Faulkner, Jean Peryea, Alice Merrick, Clifford Peryea, Andrew Peryea, Carol Hart, Helen Peryea, Susan Duncan, Barbara Kenny, Randy Peryea, Rosie Elliott and Laura Phillips; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A service celebrating his life is 2 p.m. Sunday at the home of his sister, Barbara Kenny, 2393 Andres Road, south of Belding. No visitation will take place. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association. Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, is entrusted with arrangements and is serving the Peryea family.
