Peterle, 51, died suddenly Thursday morning at 1 a.m. at his home in Saranac, as the result of a heart attack. He was born May 16, 1892 in Lowell and for over 35 years had been employed as agent at the Grand Trunk railroad. In 1920 he was married to Ruth Locher who survives him. He is also survived by a son Larry, 13; a brother, Charles Peterle of Lowell and a sister, Mrs. Mary Roberts of Rockford, Ill. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Morris funeral home, Saranac. Burial will be in Saranac cemetery. Mr. Peterle was a veteran of World War I and served with a telegraphy division overseas. He was a member of the LeRoy Dausman post of the American Legion, Saranac, the Ionia Elks lodge and the Railroad Telegraphers.
