March 4, 2016 BARBARA L. PETERMAN Barbara L. (Jeschke) Peterman, Ionia, Michigan, born June 21, 1930, in Detroit,MI to Herbert and Ella (Schutzler) Jeschke, passed away March 2, 2016. She married William E. Peterman II on Oct.13, 1951 in Detroit, MI. They resided in New Jersey and Arkansas, before moving to Ionia, MI in 2006. Barbara taught Elementary school, Hunterdon County, New Jersey for 22 years. She was an active member of LeValley United Methodist church, United Methodist Women's, LaValley UMC Fellowship, and Ionia Literary Club. Barbara is survived by her sons, William T. (Norene) Peterman, Ionia, MI, Bryan A. (Suzanne) Peterman, Milford, New Jersey, Bradley J. Peterman, Bullhead City, Arizona, and Barry T. (Tammy) Peterman, Marion, MI; grandchildren, William E. (Kimberly) Peterman III, Delaware, Ohio, Jordan Peterman, Kingman, Arizona, Jacob Peterman and Elijah Peterman, Bullhead City, Arizona; great-grandsons Grant and Evan Peterman, Delaware, Ohio; and step-grandsons,Kelvin (Char) Warren, Comstock Park, MI, Duane warren, Gondorf, Germany, Curt (Bobbi) Warren, Greenville, MI, Matthew (Bethany) Blaszak, Maaton, MI, Nathan (Lisa) Blaszak, lake City, MI, and their families; plus nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by husband William E. Peterman II, in 2000; brother Herbert Jeschke Jr., Sisters Hildegard (Paul) Berry, Helen (Vern) Nichol, Mildred (Val) Ortmann, Beverly (Ned) Aeschiliman; two nieces; and one nephew. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. April 9, at Levalley united methodist church with Pastor Ray Sundell officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Arrangements by Lake funeral home of Ionia.
