Ionia Sentinel, November 1954
Miss Bessie M. Peters, 70, died suddenly Saturday evening at her home in 
Bloomer Township, Montcalm County, three miles east of Palo.  A heart attack 
was the cause of death.

She was born December 6, 1883, in Bloomer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin 
Peters, and lived all of her life in the parental farm home.  Surviving is one 
brother, Harry Peters, a former resident of Hubbardston, who, since the death 
of his wife, also resided in the parental home.

Miss Peters who was employed in Ionia by the Ionia Manufaturing Company until 
about ten years ago when an oil well was brought in on the Peters farm and she 
returned there to make her home.

Funeral services at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan. Interment in Palo 
Cemetery.
