The funeral services for Mrs. Mary Peters, 43, wife of Harry Peters of North 
Plains township were held from the Palo church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock 
with rev. F.N. Drake in charge. The burial was in the Palo cemetery.

Mrs. Peters had been a resident of North Plains township the most of her life. 
Her illness, which caused her demise, began several months ago and during that 
time she submitted to an operation in the University hospital.

She and Mr. Peters have been married six yeas. Her first husband, Edward 
Buckley, died in 1919, leaving her with two sons, Borden and Dale, who with Mr. 
Peters, her aged father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Borden of Tennessee PA, 
two sisters, Mrs. Charles Buckley of Bushnell, and Mrs. James Wakefield of 
Denver, Colo., and  brother L.A. Borden of Tacoma Wash. survive her.
