The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 8, 1959


Mrs. Evalena C. Peters, 78, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Clayton Walters of route three, Portland.  Mrs. Peters was a 
member of Seventy Day Adventists church at Grand Ledge.

Besides the daughter, Mrs. Walters, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Etta 
Dutton of Portland.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Neller funeral home in 
Portland.  Burial will be in Portland cemetery.
