Bessie P. Petersen, 72, died Saturday evening at her farm home in Evergreen 
Township, Montcalm County.  She was born August 27, 1884 at Newburgh and 
resided near Sheridan the past 40 years.  She was a past matron and member of 
Pearl Lake Lodge, Order of Eastern Star.

Besides her husband, Ed. E., she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C. M. 
Miller of Wyandotte; two grandchildren; one brother, Walter Broadbent of 
Lansing.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am from the Stebbins 
funeral home in Sheridan.  Interment will be in South Boston cemetery with the 
Rev. N. B. Miller officiating.
