Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. March 31, 1958

Mrs. Sadie Shute Petersen, 80, died Sunday at her home in Belding after a six 
months illness.

She was born January 26, 1878 in Ionia County.

Surviving besides her husband, Jens are two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Kyle and 
Mrs. Frances Oulson, both of Detroit, and a sister, Miss Frankie Preston of 
Ionia.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Myers funeral home. The 
Rev. Floyd Emshwiller will officiate and interment is to be in the family lot 
at Highland Park cemetery.
