Born in Ionia, September 3, 1895 the daughter of Mr. ad Mrs. Charles Cartridge, she attended Ionia schools. She was married August 1, 1915 in Greenville to George Petersen, who survives. They resided in Belding until 1917 and have lived in Ionia the past 26 years. She was a member of Ionia Church of God. Surviving besides the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Jay Bryan of Belding, Mrs. Benjamin Taylor of Ionia, Mrs. Howard Risch of Williamston; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren; half sister, Mrs. John Devers of Ionia. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 pm at Stone-Kauffman funeral home with Rev. Arnold Cromlish of Belding, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.
