The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, May 8, 1926
The funeral service for John Peterson was held from the Boynton funeral chapel 
Friday afternoon at 2:30.  Rev. Alfred Trenerry, of the Baptist church, 
officiated at the service.  The music was furnished by Mrs. George Fox.  The 
bearers were Tony Ammon, James Kendig, John Galloway, and John Rothgang.  
Those from out of the city to attend the service were William Johnson, of 
Pontiac, and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Miller, of Ada.  Burial took place in the 
family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
