BRADENTON, FLA.- G. Edward Peterson, 73 of 2609 Potters Road passed away Friday 
at Blake-Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, Florida.

He was born Aug. 31, 1907, in Dewight, Ill., the son of Charles and Caroline 
Broderson Peterson. 

He married Myrie Mason march 21, 1932 in Indiana and was a life time farmer in 
Orleans area and a member of the Zion United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Myrie; two sons, James of Ohio and Jerry of 
Virginia; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Karen) Colson of Saranac and Mrs. Pete 
(Lois) Ellis of Kalamazoo; two brothers, John of Ionia and Ray of Belding; six 
sisters. Mrs. Olene Curtis of Minnesota, Mrs. Almelia Boureman, Mrs. Lillian 
Burrows of Ionia and Mrs. Hazel Phelphs of Ionia, Mrs. Louis Gabe of Grand 
Rapids and Mrs. Esther Hall of Parchment; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. from the Zion United Methodist Church with 
the Rev. Eldon Schran officiating, burial will be in the Orleans Cemetery.

The family will receive friend and relatives at the Myers-Roetman Funeral Home 
today from 7 to 9 p.m.

A memorial has been established for the church and can be left at the funeral 
home.
