Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Sat. Aug. 31, 1946

Charles W. Peterson, 69, died at his home 511 North Nicholson street, Friday 
August 30 at 7 p.m. Born in Chicago he had lived in Ionia for nearly fifty 
years, the last thirty of which he had been employed at the state hospital. He 
was a member of the Masonic lodge.

Survivors are his widow, Maude, and four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Moisley, Mrs. 
Myrtle Hanson, Mrs. Emil Schersh, and Mrs. William Hoxhold, all of Chicago.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 from the Myers funeral 
home, with the Rev. Wayne Davis officiating. Interment will be in the Easton 
cemetery.
