Belding Banner-News, 12 Oct 1967

A former Belding resident, Mrs. Laura Peterson, 56, of Utica died Sunday at St.
Joseph Hospital in Mt. Clemens.  Mrs. Peterson was born October 10, 1911, in
Glennie.  She had lived in Utica for the past 18 years.  She was a member of the
Utica Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Garfield, of Utica; two sons, Marvin of Detroit and
Gary of Utica; her mother, Mrs. Eunice Peterson of Belding; two sisters, Mrs.
Leo (Beulah) McPherson of Belding and Mrs. Dwight (Gladys) Vernon of Las Vegas,
Nevada; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Wednesday afternoon at River Ridge Cemetery, with
Reverend Robert Lilley officiating.  Arrangements were by Fitzjohn-Courser
Funeral Home.
