Beulah P. Peterson, 89, of Palo, died March 27 at Clark Memorial Home, Grand
Rapids.  Born April 14, 1900, in St. Johns, she was the daughter of William and
Edith Hecht.  She was a lifelong resident of the Palo area, a member of Palo
Rebekkah Lodge No. 389, Palo United Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women.

She was married to Godfred Peterson in 1924; he died in 1957.  Surviving are two
daughters, Doris Ryan of Carson City and Alice Ryder of Lowell; a son, Robert
Peterson of Harrison; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters,
Ethel Hecht of Ionia and Elizabeth Sprague of Fenwick; two brothers, Erford
Hecht of Crystal and William Hecht of Saranac.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. from the Schnepp Funeral Home in
Carson City, with the Rev. Ray Grienke officiating.  Burial will be in Highland
Park Cemetery, Ionia.  Rebekkah memorial service will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
at the funeral home.  A memorial, for Clark Memorial Home, has been established,
in care of the funeral home.  The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
