He was employed as a draftsman at a Charlevoix factory to obtain funds to return to studies that Ferris State college. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister Mrs. Fred Miller and his grandfather, Fred Mast, both of Belding. Funeral services will be December 16 at 2 p.m. from Huffman funeral home in Belding, the Rev. Robert Lilley of Belding Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memory cemetery near Belding. ------------ Funeral services for Gary J. Peterson, 23, 647 Harrison Avenue, Belding, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home, Belding. Rev. Robert Lilley of Belding Baptist church will officiate and interment will be at Rest Haven Memory Gardens. He died Friday at a Charlevoix hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born October 8, 1946 in Belding, the son of Clifford and Wilhelmina Peterson. A graduate of Belding high school in 1965, he was also a member of the armed forces having served in Germany. He attended Ferris State college at Big Rapids two years and was a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. He was presently employed as a draftsman at Freeman Art Craft corporation in Charlevoix. Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peterson, he leaves a sister, Mrs. Fred Miller of Belding; and grandfather, Fred Mast of Belding. Bearers will be Joel Black, Glen Geiger, William Patton, Carter Huffman, William T. Fout and Dennis Fountaine.
