Carl I. Peterson
CLARKSVILLE - Carl I. Peterson, 81, of Clarksville passed away on Thursday, March
23, 1995 at the TenderCare Nursing Home in Hastings.

He was born on April 16, 1913 in Lowell Township, the son of Martin and Hannah
Peterson.

Mr. Peterson graduated from Lowell High School in 1932. He was married to Mary
Slater McCaul in 1979 in Clarksville.

He lived and farmed in the Lowell and Alto areas most of his life. He was a member
of the Elmsdale Church of the Nazarene and was a Sunday School teacher there for several
years.

Survivors are his wife, Mary; three step sons, Gordon McCaul of Clarksville;Ron
McCaul of Tucson, Arizona, Dale McCaul of Clarksville; one step daughter, Mrs. Harold (Rita)
Philo of San Diego, California; 17 grandchildren; 22 step-grandchildren; 22 step-great-
grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandson.

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 24, at the Clarksville Bible Church with
Reverend Gregory Freed officiating.

Burial was in Bowne Center Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in the Elmdale Church of the Nazarene.

Arrangements were made by the Koops Funeral home in Clarksville.
