               Robert "Bob" Peterson

Robert "Bob"Peterson, 85 of Lansing, formerly of Palo, passed away Friday,May 
28, 2010, at the Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing.

He was born in Ionia, on Thursday,March 12,1025, the son of Godfred and Beulah 
(Hecht) Peterson, both of whom preceded him in death along with his first wife, 
Mary Peterson; one son, Robert Allen; and one sister, Glynnis Ryan.

On Nov. 5, 2000, Bob married Ruth B.Taylor in Lansing, and she survives him, 
along with one son,Raymond and Karen Peterson of Jerome; two sisters,Doris Ryan 
of Carson City and Alice Ryder of Lowell; two grandchildren, Melissa and Tom 
Roudabush of Alamitos, Calif, and Justin Peterson of Lowell; two great-
grandchildren, Sarah and Jenna Roudabush; and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was a member of the Oddfellows Lodge,Fred Hall encampment #53 and Canton of 
Midland.He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time outdoors and he loved to 
travel.He was the former owner of the Parkers Campground in Harrison. Bob was 
also a former Ionia County Commissioner.

Funeral services for Bob will be held at the Simpson Family Funeral in Sheridan 
from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday.

The family suggests memorial donations being made in Bob's memory be made to the 
charity of one's choice.

Interment will be at the Palo Cemetery,Palo.
