Sentinel-Std. - Monday, May 23, 1955

Carl Peterson; 63, of 423 North Dexter street died Saturday afternoon at the 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Peterson was born September 21, 1891 in Illinois. He had worked at the 
Ionia Manufacturing Company for 14 years and was a World War I veteran with the 
77th infantry.

Surviving are his wife, Eveline, one son, Wayne, five brothers, Godfrey of 
Palo, Elmer, Ed and Julius of Ionia, and Wesley of Orleans, one sister, Mrs. 
Opal Swain.

A military funeral will be conducted from Myers funeral home Tuesday afternoon 
at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Heath T. Goodwin will officiate.

Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.
