Debra Kay Pethers, 57, of Belding, passed away at home early Friday morning,
Jan. 30, 2009, following a battle with cancer.  She was born Aug. 13, 1952, in
Greenville, the daughter of Leonard and Peggy (Cross) Antcliff.

Debra was a stay-at-home mom who focused on raising her family.  She was a
member of the Legion Auxiliary and she enjoyed garage sale shopping, an
occasional trip to the casino in Mount Pleasant and spending time with their
children and grandchildren.

Debra will be remembered by her loving family, including her mother, Peggy
McKay; children Bob (Cindy) Huddleston, Leonard (Emma) Huddleston, Brian
(Joanie) Huddleston, Connie (Terry) Atchison and Larry Huddleston; stepchildren,
Tim (Heather Clark) Pethers and Billy (Becky) Pethers; grandchildren, Bobby Jr.,
Courtney, Caitlin, Amanda, Brian, Jason, Lauryn, Terry, Cassie, Baylee, Cali,
Damion, Emily, Leonard Jr., Andrew, Andrea, Kaiden, Kayla, Kassi and Katie;
sisters, Sue Antcliff and Linda (Bill) Pethers; and several nieces, nephews and
many dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Antcliff;
her husband, Thomas R. Pethers; and a grandson, Casey Huddleston.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Verdun Family Funeral Home, 303 S.
Bridge St., Belding, with Pastor Kendall Harger officiating.  Interment with
graveside services will take place when weather permits at Greene Cemetery in
Orleans.  Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
