Ray Petrie
Ray E. Petrie, 94, of Ionia, formerly of rural Sunfield, died Dec. 31 in an Ionia
nursing home.

Mr. Petrie was a retired farmer and had lived in the rural Sunfield area most of his
life.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Collier of Lake Odessa; 11
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren;  four step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; 
and nieces and nephews.

Services were at 1 pm Thursday , Jan. 4, at the Mapes-Fisher funeral home in
Sunfield, with the Rev. Floyd Nagel of Grand Ledge officiating. Burial was in Danby Cemetery.
