Roxanne Elaine Pett or before she was married, Roxanne Elaine Fullmer, was born in
Big Rapids on July 6, 1959.  In her early years, Roxanne attended Ferris State
University and aspired to be an inspirational artist. 

She married Steven Pett on June 19, 1982, together they had two beautiful children,
Eric and Valerie Pett.  Roxanne died on the early morning of Aug. 7, 2015.  She is
survived by her husband, Steven Pett; her son Eric Pett and her daughter Valerie
Pett; and many other friends and family members.

Roxanne always enjoyed sharing her passions with everyone she touched, which
included all variety of arts and crafts, caring for animals and teaching.  

Above everything else, family was the most important part of Roxanne’s life.  She
could always be heard telling tales of the adventures her children were having or
what new crazy idea her husband had come up with or the latest crafting technique
she had just mastered.  Roxanne was a member of several Fiber Guilds that include
Lansing, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Chelsea, she was also a member of the Michigan
Fiber Festival.

The visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 5 to 7
p.m., and the Funeral will be at Lakewood United Methodist Church on Wednesday, Aug.
12, starting at 11 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the
Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion in honor of Roxanne Elaine Pett.
