Lake Odessa Wave - November 23, 1961
          HARRY G. PEW 53, PASSED AWAY FRIDAY
   Harry G. (Bud) Pew, 53, of 713 Jessop street, Lansing passed away Friday
afternoon at the Lansing General 
Hospital after being hospitalized with a heart ailment for two days.
   His parents were Harry and Rannie Christopher Pew and they moved to a farm on
M-66 from Illinois where 
they lived for several years before returning to Illinois.
   Mr. Pew married Thelma Kauffman at Bowling Green, Ohio, September 29, 1928 and
they had lived at 
Lansing for 28 years, and at their present address for the past 20 years.  He was
employed by the Oldsmobile 
Drop Forge Plant at Lansing for the past 19 years.
   Surviving are his wife, a sister Mrs. Alice Kessler of Aurora, Illinois, and a
brother Robert of Westmont, 
Illinois.  
   Funeral services were held on Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral chapel with
burial in Lakeside 
cemetery.
